Abstract

When you read this we all shall have entered the year 2000. I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I would like to repeat my good wishes for a very successful year in this new 20th century. 1999 was a very memorable year for me in many ways and I do not think it can be surpassed but who knows! I hope the same will be said for all EAHIL members who will be involved with ICML and other major events. I especially will be looking forward to meeting in 2000 many EAHIL colleagues whom I have corresponded by e-mail and as often happens with this wonderful international process of bridging borders, have also got to know well.
